Performing Services
Paula is available for concerts, recordings, private parties, auditions, and weddings. A small ensemble, such as piano, violin, and cello, is also possible. Please inquire about rates.
Accompanying
Paula is a former accompanist at San Francisco State University. She often helps singers and instrumentalists prepare for recitals, auditions, recordings, and competitions. She has experience accompanying all instruments and is a competent sight-reader.
Current Ensembles
Matt Small’s Chamber Ensemble
World-renowned trumpeter Dave Douglas invited the quintet to perform at Carnegie Hall to represent innovative new compositions. Matt Small’s Chamber Ensemble music blends elements of a classical ensemble with those of a flexible jazz/improvised group.
Duo Cantando
Paula and cellist Kelley Maulbetsch frequently present classical concerts in the Bay Area. Last summer they performed and lead workshops throughout Nicaragua. They are available for concerts, weddings, and private events.
Potaje
Paula often performs with Spanish composer, flutist, and cajon player Chus Alonso. His compositions are heavily based on the flamenco tradition, with added elements of classical and jazz. Chus and Paula have performed as a duo in Spain, Portugal, and San Francisco.
